Job Description
Main Duties:
Be present on time for the shift, ensuring a standard presentable image of the hotel (Hairstyle, uniform & grooming).
Welcome all guests entering the hotel and escort them as per their VIP level.
Check the lobby area for cleanliness, lighting, ashtrays, and brochures; take necessary actions on the spot.
Follow up on last day operations: for VIP guests who didn't show up, take necessary actions on any pending cases.
Ensure that VIP arrivals for the day are prepared: room assignments as per guest requests, transportation & amenities.
Inspect VIP rooms for cleanliness, maintenance & amenities; ensure that standards are respected.
Check for birthdays & honeymooners expected for the day and send a birthday cake with a personalized card from the GM.
Be available in the lobby to distribute guest comments, up-sell A-Club membership, and gather feedback from guests.
Follow up on long-staying guest requests: give courtesy calls & send amenities as per their requests.
Prepare the TOP VIP's check-out:Revise the bills.
Contact the guest for departure arrangements: transportation, packing, late check-out.
Escort VIP guests to the exit of the hotel upon check-out.
Ensure lobby ambiance from daytime to nighttime: lighting the lobby candles and switching on lights according to standards.
Qualifications
Passion for guest service.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
Previous experience as a Butler is a must.
Fluency in English and at least one additional language.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and guest requests.
Knowledge of Micros-Fidelio Property Management System is an asset.
Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
Experience with a hotel loyalty program is an asset.
Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
