Job Description About the Role! We are looking for an experienced and proactive Executive Housekeeper to join our hotel's leadership team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the professional and cost-effective running of the Housekeeping department, with a focus on achieving high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas.
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, as an Executive Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:
Supervising and leading the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, and evaluating team performance. Managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling team members, assigning tasks, and ensuring adequate coverage. Overseeing inventory management, including ordering and replenishing cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment. Coordinating with other departments, such as Front Desk and Maintenance, to address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly. Ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Ensuring that all housekeeping team members adhere to safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals. Monitoring and controlling departmental expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. Qualifications About You! Proven experience in a similar role is essential. Strong leadership attributes. Clear communication to lead and develop a large team. Positive stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments. A solutions-focused individual with a strategic mind and the ability to forward-plan successfully. Financial and commercial acumen.
