Cater Care Services seeks to appoint an experienced, motivated and driven individual with leadership experience to the role of Accommodation Manager at an Ernest Henry mining village operation within Queensland. This role is available on a FIFO basis out of Cairns or perfect for a Mt Isa local on a 14/7 roster.
What this role involves:
Responsible for leading the site team to deliver the Contract at site including site facilities management, accommodation management, housekeeping and janitorial services, catering services. Be the site safety lead ensuring a positive safety culture in line with the Cater Care SHE program and adherence to the Cater Care Safety commitments. Resource planning and management including labour scheduling, asset management, preventative maintenance program and purchasing. Ensure financial performance with P&L responsibility with a focus on labour and cost of goods sold. Site administration focusing on accommodation planning, safety systems, hazard reporting maintenance planning/scheduling and other incidentals. Desired Skills and Experience What we require from you:
A focus on work safe practices in line with company, client & legislative requirements. Previous experience in Facilities Management or Accommodation Management including asset management. Working experience or understanding of computerised management systems in the areas of Accommodation management and Maintenance management. Advanced experience with contemporary admin packages (Microsoft Office and Google Suites). Process driven with proven people management skills. Strong administrative knowledge and experience. Good decision making abilities with a hands-on approach. Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather. A manual driver's license (preferred) and forklift license (highly regarded). Impeccable, genuine, friendly & professional customer service. A motivated, constructive and professional 'can-do' attitude. Resourcefulness, resilience and enthusiasm. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging & time-sensitive environment.
