Acciona Construction has been engaged by Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) to deliver the Link Rd project, which is the first phase of development to allow key access to the site and streamline logistics. This role will be on site during construction activity.
As the Site Security Advisor, you will provide high-level advice and guidance on security issues, vetting and clearances of personnel, oversee the day-to-day security operations, and promote a secure and risk-aware culture across the project.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day protective security services, including access and guarding. Track and maintain relevant personnel clearances and vetting to ensure we meet the required Acciona and Defence standards. Implement project security policies, procedures, and guidelines to project personnel including staff, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors. Provide oversight and guidance on security matters, including clearances and incident management. Conduct regular patrols of the site to ensure site security is maintained in accordance with our requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Contractor Construction Security Plan and its distribution. Coordinate security risk management, offering solutions for mitigation and treatment. Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure security standards are met. Key Criteria: Experience with the Australian Defence security framework and clearances. Demonstrated ability to manage security operations and personnel. Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and security advisories. Ability to receive and obtain AGSVA baseline clearance. Highly favourable should you already have AGSVA Baseline or above security clearance.
