With your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, you'll ensure the efficiency and safety of our solar operations while contributing to sustainability efforts in the renewable energy sector.
Job Description
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all Balance of Plant (BOP) infrastructure, ensuring optimal functioning of the solar farm.
Conduct inspections and repairs of HV substations, civil infrastructure, and electrical systems in accordance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members and support contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with HSE standards.
Record and update maintenance data in CMMS systems, such as Maximo, WMS, and HSEQ, for accurate reporting and planning.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and maintenance practices.
Maintain necessary training certifications and qualifications, ensuring safe execution of tasks including Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and electrical work at substation level.
Required Skills and Competencies
Hold an appropriate Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate; Electrical trades must be able to hold a valid QLD "A Grade" Electrical License (beneficial).
3 to 5 years post-trade qualification experience.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Current manual driver's license and ability to travel to various wind farms across Australia.
Ability to comply with ACCIONA Energía's Safety Management System and maintain relevant qualifications, including First Aid Level 2, Working at Heights, and HV Operator certification.
In compliance with Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act 2018, this role is defined as critical worker and labelled at ACCIONA Energia as a Privileged Access Worker (PAW).
Privileged Access Workers (PAW's) are required to obtain satisfactory results from Acciona's Suitability Assessment prior to commencement, this forms part of our standard pre-employment checks.
