The Project:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see the construction of 8km of single-lane highway with 7 bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2.5-year program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.
The Opportunity:
As the HR Advisor OR Coordinator , you will report to the Project Director and provide generalist people management support across blue and white-collar employees. Your role will be to facilitate and support all HR activities including onboarding, performance management, inductions, as well as learning and development on the project to create and maintain an engaged workforce.
Responsibilities: Partner and support the project leadership team in relation to HR. Maintain employee records and transfers through Workday. Support the onboarding of new team members. Assist with visa applications, supporting our immigration team. Coordinate training programs on site. Partner with the regional HR team on a variety of HR projects. Skills & Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification or experience on an infrastructure project. Knowledge of relevant legislation and various employment laws and practices. Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to maintain effective communication with all levels of the organisation. Highly organised with exceptional time management and planning abilities.
