Employees reside in varied accommodation options in and around the district of Orange with the surrounding area's occupied by wineries, stone fruit orchards, farming and national parks.Employees have access to the area's wide range of amenities, including a prominent health sector with a modern well-equipped regional hospital, excellent educational facilities, shopping, large selection of sport and recreation options, transport and other services such as childcare.Who we're looking for  The Access Control Officer, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Security and Access Control, will join the Health, Safety, Security and Risk Department at Cadia Valley Operations.The primary focus of the role will be to offer support as the main point of contact for personnel regarding all access control matters, while also ensuring adherence to site standards.Other responsibilities include:Processing of all Employees, Visitors and Contractors access to site, ensuring full compliance with SOP's and SAP procedures. Facilitate card programming for PSD, Gallagher and Cyberkey systems, ensuring electronic data accuracy and integrity. Monitor access points and investigating / rectifying access issues as necessary to ensure electronic data accuracy and integrity of access records. Conduct and accurately record all relevant data and information relating to Fitness for Work assessment. Monitor employees, contractors and visitors' compliance with the fatigue management policy and ensure timely and efficient processing of fatigue alerts. Assisting and supporting those ACO's / SO's engaged in the field, ensuring compliance with "Gold Standards" during breakdowns, maintenance, and shutdown periods. Conduct required duties identified under the Gold Security Standard, including attendance to identified areas, processing of applications and assist in maintaining integrity or areas / processes Active monitoring of CCTV vision. Incident investigation, checking of card activity records, CCTV footage, etc Act as the backup emergency call receiver when required. Provide relief of the Supervisor Security and Access Control as required.Effectively communicating with peers & Supervisor, actively seeking guidance, reporting issues providing feedback / improvement ideasWith a strong emphasis on adaptability, the ideal candidate for this role will possess flexibility and a strong ability to juggle priorities effectively.
