Access Consultant

A leading global engineering firm in Melbourne's inner CBD is seeking an experienced Access Consultant with a design background. They specialise in accessibility, risk, safety and security risk consulting, emergency management, and digital innovation. They pride themselves on an inclusive culture and professional growth. If this role is right for you, you will have knowledge of BCA standards and the ability to deliver access consulting services in a 2IC capacity.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality cost-effective access consulting services.Identify opportunities for new business through business development.Conduct site inspections and assessments on various stages of developments, ensuring adherence to codes.Undertake accessibility audits to existing and new buildings.Stay updated on changes in building codes and industry standards.Be able to offer innovative solutions to design issues not meeting codes.Prepare reports and fee proposals for clients.Skills & Experience:Qualifications in Architecture, Engineering and Building Surveying.Member / eligible / or working towards ACAA membership.In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.Proficient in reviewing and preparing reports and email writing.Have a work safety construction industry qualification (white card).C Class Driver's license.Results orientated, with great communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits & Culture:A chance to grow your professional self at a leading international firm.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.Flexibility with working from home.REFERENCE AA 67830If the above position appeals to you then please submit your CV to ****** and we'll be in touch.
