Part Time (0.6) Fixed Term position to 30 June 2025We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join the headspace Knox and Lilydale teams in a key role focused on phone triage, referrals, and assessments for young people accessing mental health services.
This position plays a pivotal role as the first point of contact for young people, ensuring they receive comprehensive screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate referrals.
You'll work collaboratively with our broader headspace teams and community partners, facilitating bookings and coordinating supported referrals for young people and their families.Key Responsibilities:Conduct phone triage, screenings, and risk assessments for young people.Coordinate referrals and bookings to relevant services and teams.Manage walk-in presentations and support families.Participate in Community Development activities, including school presentations, workshops, and local events (e.g., festivals).Contribute to planning and organizing events like Youth Week and Mental Health Week.Additional Requirements:Occasional after-hours and weekend work as needed.Join a passionate team dedicated to supporting young people and their families in a dynamic and rewarding environment!
headspace is a federally funded, innovative, early intervention program that aims to build the health and well-being of young people (12-25 years).
headspace is especially aimed at those who are at risk of mental health issues.
