Accept's Allied Health Team provide a complete range of community-based services to our disability (includes young participants) and aged care clients.

The caseload will be made up of adults and/or children, whom you will see in their own environment.
You will be able to work with your expertise i.e.
aged, paediatric, adult disability.
Provide assessments and subsequent interventions to assist in Activities of Daily Living Independence.
Conduct assessments and complete applications for identified required assistive technology, complex home modifications, and specialist disability accommodation, conducting paediatric assessments and providing subsequent therapy, for example sensory assessment.
Working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Accurate and timely maintenance of client records.
There is demand for OT services across different clinical areas, so there is potential for you to evolve your position into a highly specialised position or maintain a more generalist approach.

Advantageous to have previous experience delivering community-based occupational therapy.

Have experienced comprehensive report writing skills.

Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team.
You must be able to provide
Relevant Occupational Therapy tertiary qualifications.
Current respective registrations with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening.
Current National Police Clearance (less than 12 months).
Current Manual Handling, First Aid and CPR.
Valid Driver's License.
Self-registered, reliable car with insurance.
