About The School of Allied Health, Chiropractic Program Murdoch University's Chiropractic program, part of the School of Allied Health, is a leader in evidence-based chiropractic education in Western Australia.
Established in 2001, the program combines cutting-edge theory with hands-on clinical training at the on-campus Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic (MUCC) and through impactful outreach in rural and remote communities.

Your new role – Academic Lead, Clinical Education The Academic Lead, Clinical Education is a pivotal academic leadership role focused on driving excellence in clinical education.
You will oversee the operation of the clinic, ensuring seamless integration of clinical placements with the broader academic curriculum while upholding professional, academic, and legal standards.
A key aspect of this role is advancing the clinic's research capabilities, fostering evidence-based practice, and championing research-driven clinical education.
You will also contribute through teaching, with responsibilities centred on designing and delivering clinical practice units and professional development programs.
This is an opportunity to shape the future of clinical education and research in a dynamic and impactful environment.
This position is available at either Academic Level C or Level D, depending on experience.
What you'll bring to this role A postgraduate qualification or Doctoral qualification in a relevant field with significant experience in academic and clinical leadership, including course and program design.
Strong knowledge of clinical practice standards, legal frameworks, and academic accreditation processes, with recent university teaching experience.
Proven ability to lead teams, build research capacity, and manage research grants and funding opportunities.
Demonstrated links with industry and stakeholders to enhance teaching, research, and clinical practice outcomes.
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills, with proficiency in clinical management systems and electronic health records.
