Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education), the role will be responsible for the strategic and operational refinement of the existing course portfolio, drawn from a variety of faculties, helping to further the reach of UTS's offshore online education business, whilst ensuring the academic standards and quality for which UTS is known are upheld and built upon. Collaborating broadly across the university with both academic and professional staff, it will also drive international hiring and staff training activities to ensure excellence in curriculum delivery and student experience. With an eye for quality at every stage, the role will drive continuous improvement in course standards, ensure pedagogically sound content delivery, compliance with regulatory frameworks, robust academic integrity, and the effective translation of Australian course content, with a particular focus on the Chinese market.About YouAs a fluent or near-fluent speaker of English and Mandarin Chinese, with extensive knowledge of both the Australian and Chinese higher education sectors, and holding a relevant PhD, you will bring significant expertise to this role. Your passion for cutting-edge learning technologies, dedication to delivering a high-quality online student experience, and deep sensitivity to cultural and linguistic contexts make you an education professional with vision and energy.
