Academic Administrative Coordinator

Details of the offer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic Academic Administrative Coordinator to join our well-established and growing school community in 2025, providing dedicated support to the College's Secondary Principal and Deputies.
Are you a highly organised individual with a passion for supporting Christian leadership? This is a unique opportunity to serve in a dynamic Christian environment, providing essential administrative and personal support, while helping to foster a community rooted in faith and excellence.
If you are someone who:
enjoys a variety of tasks, projects and activities; thrives on organisation; cares about the details; possesses effective communication and interpersonal skills; has experience in the Education sector and Government compliance requirements; and desires to join a well-established Christian community…then this is the role for you! About Rehoboth As the first Christian parent-governed school in Western Australia, we are pioneers of distinctly Christian education. Our rich heritage stretches back almost sixty years; we have learned a fair bit in that time and are always seeking ways to improve and innovate.
Rehoboth exists to partner with families in their God-given task of nurturing and educating their children. You will be joining a team who really believe in their mission to lead students to think and live for the glory of God in every aspect of their lives.
About the Position You will be involved in a variety of administrative and secretarial activities supporting the Secondary Principal and Deputies. The work will include overseeing the running of the secondary reception, supporting the College's compliance and curriculum and academic standards, coordinating secondary campus events, liaising and supporting senior staff, providing academic and general administration support, and proactively managing the day-to-day office priorities and commitments.
Experience in a school environment with TASS and PassTab platforms, familiarity with School Curriculum and Standard Authority procedures including VET, Endorsed programs and SIRS, and Microsoft programs including Teams, SharePoint, and the LMS program Schoolbox (Rehoboth Connect) will be highly regarded.
Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise well will be essential in order to succeed in this role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes to keep busy and have a variety of diverse tasks to fill their day.
What You Need to Succeed Apart from the necessary qualifications, we look for people who are a great cultural fit. Rehoboth is a community of Christians – parents and staff alike – and we are all about supporting each other in our spiritual walks and encouraging students to explore their faith and discover their God-given gifts.
Because of the deeply Christian nature of our College, we consider all staff to be role models to students, no matter what position they have. We take your active involvement in a local Protestant Christian church, a deeply committed Christian lifestyle, and ability to articulate your personal Christian faith as evidence of your desire to help build a vibrant Christian community at Rehoboth.
You will also need to have exceptional organisational, administrative, and interpersonal skills and have an outstanding ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and members of the community.
Here are the essential criteria for the position:
you must be actively involved in a local Protestant Christian church and be able to demonstrate an exemplary Christian lifestyle; you must be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check ; you must be willing to obtain a Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check .
