My Kids Academy is looking for an experienced Early Learning Centre Manager who has the passion to create an amazing team in a brand-new, purpose-built, innovative, Early Learning Centre in Mackay that opened January 2024.
The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and inspiring leader who is passionate about early education and shares our vision for learning. The successful applicant should be committed to engaging with children and families in a variety of ways to facilitate their individual learning styles and show a commitment to continuing their own ongoing research and professional growth.

Within this role, you will be managing the day-to-day operations of the service and have opportunities to guide and mentor Educators, form partnerships with families, and engage within the wider community. A place of learning where teachers understand the importance of a child's early years. A place where children, families, and staff feel welcome and valued.

Requirements
To be successful in this position, it is expected that you have:

ACECQA approved Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent.Previous leadership and management experience.Current Blue Card.Child Protection Training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm.Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates.Comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of the NQF and NQS.Understanding of and commitment to exemplary practice that is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework.Effective skills in conflict resolution, team building, and implementing performance review processes.Extensive working knowledge of CCS software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards, and requirements.Demonstrated ability to build constructive working relationships with families and staff.
Remuneration will be negotiable dependent on applicant skills and abilities. Hours and specific roles and responsibilities will be discussed and negotiated at interview level.
