Arnel Fencing Warehouse is looking for a motivated trade qualified (or similar experienced) Welder to join the team.
This role involves hands-on work, collaboration with the workshop team, and maintaining a well-organised and safe working environment.
We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, passion for the industry, and ability to thrive in a dynamic setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES Read & interpret product drawings and welding specificationsWelding of fencing & gate products specific to customer requirementsCoordinating and managing workshop materials, tools, and equipmentInspect and test welded surfaces and structures for quality & accuracyMaintain cleanliness and order in the workshop areaStrict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environmentConsistently working towards efficiencies & improvements across the businessABOUT YOU Previous experience in welding (1st or 2nd class)Proficient in MIG welding techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and able to produce high-quality workExcellent hand-eye coordinationDesirable - Forklift LicenceStrength & fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting roleStrong awareness of safety standards and alertness to moving parts and peopleWillingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy & paceREWARDS & BENEFITS Health & Wellbeing Initiatives | Traineeship & Apprentice Program | Career Development Opportunities | Paid Parental Leave | Employee Referral Incentive | Stratco Team Member Discount Card | Private Health Corporate Discount | Flu Vaccinations | Employee Assistance Program
