Job Summary: We are seeking a Motor Vehicle Driver to support our rural Health Care centre in Buronga, NSW. The successful candidate will provide safe and comfortable transport for Aboriginal clients, liaise with the community, and work within a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide safe and comfortable transport for Aboriginal clients requiring transfer to Health Care facilities or destinations within and external to the District.Liaise and relate to the community and other stakeholders in the relation to the Primary Health Care Model.Work within a team and liaise with the Aboriginal Community, Aboriginal Health Workers, Primary Health Team, Administration and Nursing staff and other health professionals on a day to day basis. Requirements: Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C.Current Apply First Aid Certificate.Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.Physically capable of transferring patients, loading, unloading and manoeuvring patients around, on and off stretchers or wheelchairs.Demonstrated experience with using computer systems and Microsoft programs.Demonstrated ability to work independently or part of a team with limited supervision.Knowledge of challenges of working in a remote area.Demonstrated previous experience relating to position.
