About the roleWorking as an Aboriginal Working on Country (WOC) Ranger, you will help promote sustainable and renewable practices for Aboriginal heritage and education in Tasmania. The Aboriginal Ranger will provide information and advice that will assist Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) with the preparation of plans and identify work to be completed. You will represent PWS on country and provide information, advice, and assistance to visitors, and work to make areas safe for public access. You will also help with PWS emergency responses and fire operations by assisting with fuel management and wildfire control.
The Aboriginal Ranger will be able to work from one of our offices located in either Hobart, Launceston, or Ulverstone.

Minimum RequirementsAboriginality.
