Selection Criteria Must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures with established links with the local Aboriginal community.Tertiary qualification in Bachelor Health Science (Mental Health), or qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers.Demonstrated ability to provide high quality, safe and connected care to consumers and their families and carers in a person-centred and holistic manner.Demonstrated high level communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with consumers, their families and carers and other stakeholders.High level computer skills including accuracy and demonstrated knowledge of Electronic Medical Record Programs, Microsoft Office Programs including Skype for business.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs strategic directions in service provision.Knowledge and understanding of the legislation and policies relating to Mental Health care provision, including the Mental Health Act 2007.Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain it.If you are an Aboriginal person and seek support in applying for a role, please visit the Stepping Up website.
