Aboriginal Mental Health Clinical Leader
About The Role
The Aboriginal MHDA Clinical Leader will provide clinical leadership and co-ordination of Aboriginal Mental Health Trainees undertaking the BSc Health Science (Mental Health) Charles Sturt 'Djirruwang' Program as well as provide increased support for the clinical Aboriginal workforce and broader MHDA workforce across the Bathurst and Region Hub.
The Clinical Leader will develop and provide cultural capability and education to the broader MHDA workforce aimed at enhancing the cultural safety of the service.
The Bathurst Adult Community Mental Health Team is a multidisciplinary team of professionals from social work, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy and medical backgrounds. We work closely with family, community organisations, health services and consumers to provide acute mental health care and clinical management to our local population.
Working hours
– 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday
