Our Clinicians and Allied Health professionals work on rotating rosters to support a 24/7 service model. Due to the demand of iAgeHealth, our team is expanding, and we are welcoming new professionals to be a part of the solution elderly residents need in our rural communities.About the RoleReporting to the iAgeHealth Manager you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to Indigenous individuals and communities. Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, you will provide culturally sensitive care, health education, and advocacy to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.About You:Certificate III or higher in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or equivalent.Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner or eligible to obtain.Effective communication methods within an Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Health Practice Context.Demonstrated cultural knowledge and exercise cultural respect and safety at the individual and families' levels.Ability to write clear and precise English appropriate to resident's needs.Mature outlook with the ability to relate and converse with older people.Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both in a team and autonomously.Strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to establish priorities and plan work.Commitment to embrace, model and work within the core values of McLean Care Ltd.Current Drivers Licence.Experience in an aged care setting.Understanding of Aged Care and associated Legislation.Understanding of AN-ACC Care Minute requirements.Experience in supervising and leading staff.Basic Life Support accreditation.What's in it for you:Competitive pay rate + super + employee perks.Salary packaging (up to $18,900 net) to increase your take home pay.Access to Blue Light Card (Retail Discounts).Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Access to Scholarship Programs & Professional Development.McLean Care is passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes the right to feel safe, be valued and heard.
