Aboriginal Health Practice Nurse Contract

Job Description We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Aboriginal Health Practice Nurse's for short and long term contracts (6-12 weeks) in various locations throughout rural Australia.
These roles involve delivering professional, evidence-based healthcare to children and the community, with a special emphasis on Aboriginal health.
Ideal candidates will have experience in both practice settings and working with Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver primary healthcare services to Aboriginal patients, focusing on prevention, treatment, and health education.
Support chronic disease management, maternal and child health, and immunization programs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
Work closely with community leaders to promote culturally safe health practices.
Requirements: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
Experience in Aboriginal health and/or rural and remote healthcare.
Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
