Currently we are seeking Aboriginal Health Liaison Officers to join the Allied Health unit at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group. This role liaises and negotiates with Aboriginal patients, their families and health professionals in Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals for the development, planning and implementation of culturally appropriate health care.
You will also provide cultural consultancy to Hospital staff.
This is a joint recruitment pool across Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital. We currently have two permanent full time appointments available to be filled.
Hours are negotiable.This is a recruitment pool for permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, fixed term part time and casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/10/2025.Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
Fremantle Hospital (FH) is a 300-bed specialist hospital focused on providing high-quality aged care, mental health, secondary rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.
