The position is responsible for cultural brokerage, liaison, advocacy, and support for clients ensuring the responsibility of coordination and facilitation of child and families appointments and follow-ups. Additionally, the AFSW – Lead provides strategic leadership, mentoring, and training to the AFSW staff within the team.
To be considered for this position, you will require: Identifies as an Aboriginal person; recognised and accepted as an Aboriginal person by the Aboriginal communityExcellent communication skills including fluency in one or more local Aboriginal languages, and the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environmentDemonstrated leadership qualities or experiences that ensure strong leadership, mentoring, and training of Aboriginal colleagues.Proven experience in providing support to Aboriginal Children and familiesCurrent Drivers LicenceFor more information on the position please contact: Manager, Child and Youth Assessment & Therapeutic Services (CYATS),
