Women's and Children's Health Network - Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS) – Woodville (5011)Aboriginal Cultural Consultant - ASO4 - Salary - $75,430 to $79,070 pro-rataPart time - Term Contract (Temporary 12-Month Contract) About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS) team as an Aboriginal Cultural Consultant, where you will be responsible for: conducts early intervention parenting and child development programs in the north and western Adelaide metropolitan area for vulnerable families experiencing moderate (to high) activity levels of adversity.contributes to improving the health outcomes for Aboriginal children and families participating in the program.promoting services to ATSI children, their parents and families through improving access to WCHN About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have the ability to: Proven ability to communicate well with, and gain the confidence and cooperation of, ATSI and non-ATSI persons whilst maintaining a high degree of confidentiality Working with ATSI families and children, organisations and colleagues Identifying support needs of individual families with young children Effectively advocating on behalf of ATSI families and community What WCHN Can Offer You Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
