Job Title: Land Information Officer Location: Darwin
Remuneration Package: $105,453 - $115,393

About the Role: As the Land Information Officer, you will be developing and maintaining a Geographic Information System, and providing mapping and spatial application services in accordance with the Northern Territory Aboriginal Sacred Sites Act 1989 .
You will apply creative and multifaceted approaches to design, implementation, management, delivery, promotion, and problem resolution to optimise spatial information support services and produce customised mapping for in-house anthropologists, consultant anthropologists, and clients accessing the services of the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in preserving Aboriginal cultural heritage, working within a small and dedicated team to ensure the protection of sacred sites and be a key contributor to the mapping and spatial services provided.
