Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison OfficerEach day will be a dynamic mix of engaging with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure culturally safe and compassionate care. You'll advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, helping them navigate hospital processes, treatment plans, and discharge pathways. You'll work closely with the multidisciplinary team, offering advice and facilitating communication, translating medical procedures into culturally relevant frameworks. You'll also play a key role in educating staff about cultural needs, fostering understanding, and ensuring that all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients feel respected and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
