What your day will look like:
You'll lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering vital Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Services to our communities.
Your key responsibilities will include guiding the implementation, coordination, and management of health programs, as well as evaluating their effectiveness.
Drawing on your deep understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and cultural issues, including the social determinants of health, you'll develop and apply strategies that make a real difference in people's lives.
You'll build and maintain strong, positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, from community members to other health professionals, ensuring that our services are both effective and culturally respectful.
Throughout your work, you'll embody the Darling Downs Health Values, ensuring that every interaction is grounded in respect, integrity, and a genuine commitment to improving health outcomes.
Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.
