The Role This position provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic industry. Reporting to the Construction Estimating Team Leader, you will be responsible for all costing aspects of the business, evaluating projects and providing accurate estimates.
Other key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the authorisation of sub-contract and supplier invoice ETO's Action variations and communicate to relevant internal and external stakeholders Schedule all material and labour quantities accurately and efficiently through required software packages Review, provide feedback and assist with system improvements to create efficiencies Ensure file notes are well maintained and up to date using appropriate software Assisting with technical training and support to other staff as required You To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Experience as a Scheduler and/or Estimator (not essential but advantageous) Understanding of construction methods Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as part of a team with a wide group of stakeholders across multiple business functions Effective problem-solving skills with an ability to influence individuals or groups to achieve better outcomes Practical approach with a drive to improve or exceed goals Why ABN?
