As the Dewatering Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing a skilled team of dewatering technicians, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining high safety standards. Additionally, you will drive new business opportunities for pump hire services, manage client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth. Your ability to lead, develop business strategies, and provide excellent client service will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Operations: Supervise and manage dewatering technicians, ensuring safe and efficient service. Coordinate and schedule site service work to meet deadlines and client expectations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through innovation and training. Business Development & Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in pump asset hire. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive sales and repeat business. Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for revenue growth. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met. Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and negotiations to secure new and ongoing contracts. Operational Improvement: Drive improvements in pump hire services and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with local regulations and promote a safe working environment. About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within mining, construction, or manufacturing. Proven experience managing teams in a high-pressure environment. Strong knowledge of dewatering equipment, pumps, and industrial solutions. A network of contacts within the mining industry (highly desirable). Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills. A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently. A current Australian C-Class Driver's License and National Police Clearance . The role requires regular site visits within Kalgoorlie region. How to Apply
