The Role
As the Station Manager for Comanche, you will take full strategic accountability for all livestock operations, reporting, and financial management. You will lead a dynamic team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring best practices across all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a skilled, diverse team to achieve operational excellence. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers. Manage budgets and P&L, ensuring financial targets are met. Uphold the highest standards in animal husbandry and welfare. Oversee capital and project management initiatives. Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety Guidelines. Apply grass management tools effectively. Set and achieve stretch KPIs aligned with company objectives. Plan and manage daily operations and long-term projects in a fast-paced environment. Drive innovation and efficiency through technology adoption. Knowledge and Skills Outstanding leadership and people management capabilities. Extensive experience in intensive cattle operations; feedlot experience is a bonus. Proven ability to deliver strategic initiatives and key projects. Flexible and adaptable with a strong belief in structure and process.
