We are recruiting for an experienced, motivated Network Engineer to join this Texas-based team.
They are a consortium of Independent Rural Broadband and Telecom-centric companies providing services to rural Texas for twenty-five years.
The network comprises 10,000 miles of fiber, numerous access nodes, a DWDM system and router network providing L2 VPN, EPL, EVPL, MPLS, IP Transit and optical wavelength services in Texas.

Responsibilities: Able to travel throughout the state when it is necessary to do so.On-call duty that requires 24X7 immediate availability.While on on-call duty you must be able to respond to a network event within 30 minutes. Also, if needed to drive to the work location.,On-call rotation will be approximately every 3 to 4 weeks for 7 days starting on Monday 5pm and ending the following Monday morning at 8am.Must be willing to work after hours maintenance windows.Maintenance windows are typically 12 midnight to 6 am.Skills/Must have: DWDM Optical Experience // BGP Heavy // IS-IS // Layer 2 VPNCisco Optical (NCS 2K Series) 154Data center and ISP Experiecne5700 SERIES RoutersBenefits: Full medicaldental, vision401(k) matching programSalary: $70,000-$90,000
