This role offers the opportunity to begin as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, swiftly transitioning into an Infrastructure Consultant role after successful project delivery.
You will be joining a company that has recently secured a significant datacentre contract, propelling them into an exciting phase of growth. With numerous projects in the pipeline, including VMware Implementation, Windows Upgrades, and Veeam Integrations, they are at the forefront of innovation in managed services.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.Provide expert guidance on VMware, Windows Servers, and backup/storage solutions, with a focus on Veeam integration.Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions to their requirements.Transition into an Infrastructure Consultancy role post-project delivery, contributing to design and delivery processes.Must-Haves: Proven experience in Low-Level Design (LLD) and project delivery within the infrastructure domain.Expertise in VMware and Windows Servers.Strong background in backups/storage solutions, preferably with Veeam.Nice-to-Haves: Familiarity with Nutanix, Azure, or AWS platforms.Benefits: Competitive salary: Up to £65,000, commensurate with experience.Comprehensive pension and healthcare plans.Performance-based bonus scheme.Locations: Initially, regular travel required to data centres in designated locations (approximately 3 times a week).Remote work options available post-project completion.If you are a proactive and experienced Infrastructure Engineer seeking a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to grow with a leading managed service provider, we want to hear from you.
