As part of our sustained and planned business growth, we have opportunities available for experienced Registered Building Certifiers / Surveyors to join our NSW Commercial Certification team. Our Commercial Certification team is based from either our Sydney, Central Coast, or Newcastle offices.

About you We invite applications from Registered Building Certifiers / Surveyors who hold either:
a restricted (all classes of building) registration (A2) with NSW Fair Tradingand who can lead, assist, and manage a large variety of Class 2 to 9 building projects.
You will bring extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in building certification, with an unwavering commitment to providing a first-class customer service experience for our clients. Your proactive approach, strong communication skills, and resilience will enable you to develop positive working relationships, and you will enjoy working in an energetic, fun, and fast-paced environment with a group that values teamwork.
In addition, you will have: relevant qualifications, such as Diploma in Building Surveying, Bachelor in Construction Management, or other qualifications recognised by the Building and Development Certifiers Regulationindustry experience assessing and determining Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, and Occupation Certificates for all classes of buildings, along with knowledge of relevant applicable legislationConstruction Induction Card and strong safety mindsetcurrent driver's licence and legal work rights in AustraliaAbout the Role Your role will have you working across a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, which will include:
focusing on the timely completion of Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates, Crown Certificates, and Building Code of Australia assessmentsattending site inspections and client meetingsproviding building compliance advice to a wide range of clientsinvestigating and resolving customer requestsinvolvement in business improvement strategiesassisting Team Leaders in mentoring junior staffrepresenting Buildcert at industry events, functions, and seminars as requiredAt Buildcert, we truly believe that our people are our business, and we support them by offering employee benefits including:
