Our client is seeking two temporary AO3 Taxation Officers to join their team in Brisbane CBD for a 6 month period. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a value-for-money independent state trustee service, dedicated to advancing and safeguarding the rights, interests, and wishes of Queenslanders.
Key Responsibilities: Preparation of income tax returns to review stage in accordance with set productivity benchmarks. Assisting in the provision of sound and accurate advice in the area of financial and taxation accounting services. Use of information systems to provide service and advice to stakeholders. Assisting with the audit, review, investigation, and appraisal of systems and program evaluation. Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical. Keeping yourself and others safe and well. Other duties as required. Key Requirements: Proven experience in preparing income tax returns and ensuring statutory compliance highly regarded. Strong knowledge of financial and taxation accounting services. Ability to contribute positively to a culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical work environment.
