For the first time, we are opening up positions on our Governance Board, providing a unique opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to help shape the future of Education360.
Roles Available
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following volunteer positions:
Education360 Governance Board Member – Secretary What We're Looking For: Secretary of the Education360 Governance Board The Secretary of the Education360 Governance Board will play a vital role in ensuring the board operates effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with governance best practices. This position requires an organised, detail-oriented individual who can manage board administration and contribute to the strategic oversight of Education360.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and meeting materials in advance of board meetings. Accurately record minutes during meetings, capturing key discussions, decisions and action items. Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, including maintaining proper records of board documentation. Coordinate board schedules, meeting logistics, and communication among board members. Support the Chairperson in ensuring the board operates in line with Education360's mission and values. Serve as a key point of contact for board-related administrative tasks. Ideal Attributes :
Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with governance processes and the education sector. Ability to collaborate effectively with board members and external stakeholders. A proactive approach to managing responsibilities and ensuring board efficiency. Preferred Experience :
Experience in a similar governance, administrative or secretarial role. Knowledge of compliance requirements and best practices in education-focused organisations. A passion for contributing to the education sector and improving outcomes for schools and students. What We're Looking For: General Board Member Education360 Governance Board Educators , including Principals, Deputy Principals, Business Managers, and Teachers. Representation spanning every state and territory across Australia . Staff from Catholic, Government, and Independent Schools , ensuring diverse perspectives from different educational systems. We are also looking for individuals with expertise in:
Data and Technology in Education Compliance and Governance Finance and Accounting People and Culture Innovation in EdTech Education360 values diversity of thought, qualifications, and life experiences. Applicants with a strong desire to contribute to the education sector and support the mission of Education360 will be highly regarded.
Commitment and Meetings
All positions are volunteer roles, and board meetings are held predominantly outside of business hours to accommodate schedules.
Board meets 10 times per year for approx. 1.5-2 hours. Meetings are held at the Education360 Office (Melbourne CBD) and online (Microsoft Teams). Inclusivity Statement
