We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Specialist Air Compressor Service Technician to join our team at South West Compressors in Bunbury, Western Australia.
This full-time role, on a 9 day fortnight, is responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services for our clients' air compressor systems.
We are eager to find a dynamic and motivated professional to join our rapidly growing team.
What you'll be doing Perform scheduled inspections, maintenance and repairs on a variety of air compressor models and fuel powered systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air compressor components and systems.Rebuild and overhaul air compressors as required.Advise clients on optimal usage, care and maintenance of their air compressor equipment.Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work.Liaise with the sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service delivery.Almost all our work is based in the greater south west region with very little flying required to service our area of operation, however a successful candidate should be prepared to travel all over the south west region on a frequent basis.What we're looking for Light vehicle mechanic, diesel mechanic or similar qualifications will receive strong consideration.Minimum 5 years' experience as a maintenance technician for plant and equipment.Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of industrial plant and equipment.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A current driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.What we offer Competitive salary and bonus structure.Ongoing training and development opportunities.Access to company vehicle and fuel card.Flexible work arrangements, including a 9 day fortnight.About us South West Compressors is a leading provider of air compressor solutions in Western Australia.
