The role focuses on Mining Infrastructure and other Heavy Industry and Infrastructure projects and includes liaising with project teams and clients on-site to deliver exceptional solutions.
Working on Tier 1 infrastructure projects across regional Western Australia, day-to-day will involve carrying out a range of survey tasks, including:
determining survey methods and instrumentation in line with project requirements; maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting survey equipment and instrumentation; interpreting designs, construction plans, and technical survey documentation; completing calculations and cultivating electronic design models; conducting quality assurance on design files and calculations; completing field capture and setouts in line with project requirements; processing observations and producing accurate, well-presented reports; utilizing CAD functions to complete drafting functions; managing project documentation in line with internal and client project specifications.
We're looking for candidates with a minimum of:
a Diploma level or higher qualification in Surveying; at least five (5) years' experience post-qualification in a surveying role; experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects; demonstrated experience undertaking control network installations ; excellent interpersonal skills, forming strong working relationships; valid Australian Work Rights; valid WA Drivers Licence.
The following will be well regarded:
experience in survey audit roles; experience with SMP and dim-con surveys.
This can be FIFO from Perth (we can look at providing flights from any major Australian capital city ) or residential in beautiful North West WA.
