4Tel is a software solutions company delivering turnkey solutions to various transport sectors both domestically and internationally.
As a result of continued growth, 4Tel is seeking to employ a manager to assume day-to-day responsibility for several workgroups of the company workforce.
About the role
This is a permanent full-time position.
Because this role involves the day-to-day management of personnel, the successful candidate must be present full-time in the office at Warabrook, Newcastle NSW.
We are looking for someone who can provide leadership and guidance to various workgroups within the company and contribute to developing and implementing the company's strategic plan.
Ideally, you will be experienced in working in a technical environment that encompasses some or all of software development, solution implementation, and IT technical support.
The types of projects you will be responsible for supporting include real-time asset tracking, train control, and passenger information systems for Australian and overseas customers.
An ideal candidate for this role:
Is experienced in managing technical teams, including Defence Is organised and can work autonomously Has experience in the delivery of technical projects Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) Is able to undertake occasional domestic and international travel As an employee, you will enjoy the benefits of working within a privately owned company that is experiencing strong growth.
We will negotiate the salary for the successful candidates according to their skills and experience.
This role is only open to those who are permanent residents of Australia and preferably from the greater Newcastle area, or those willing to relocate to Newcastle at their own expense.
