3D Animator (Remote)

We are looking for an imaginative 3D Animator with rigging proficiency to become a valuable member of our dynamic team at Steamatic Apps. In the role of 3D Animator, you will be instrumental in breathing life into our game characters and environments through engaging animations. The perfect candidate will possess a solid foundation in 3D animation and rigging, along with a demonstrated history of success in the gaming industry.
Job Responsibilities Create character animations with a focus on high quality, realism, and visual appeal for in-game actions, cutscenes, and interactive elements. Develop and implement character rigs that meet both technical and artistic requirements of the game. Apply industry expertise to the animation and rigging processes, staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in gaming and animation. Engage in close collaboration with the team to seamlessly integrate animations into the game engine. Enhance the performance of animations and rigs, ensuring a smooth gaming experience across various platforms. Identify and resolve animation and rigging issues in partnership with the technical team. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for animation and rigging processes to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field. Proven experience as a 3D animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on children's content. Proficient in 3D modelling and animation software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender or similar tools. Solid understanding of character design, rigging, and animation principles, especially tailored for a younger audience. Knowledge of the technical aspects of real-time rendering and optimization for mobile platforms. Familiarity with the unique challenges and considerations of creating content for a young audience.
