About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Projects Supervisor to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Electrical Projects Engineer and work on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on managing contractors and overseeing electrical projects, including supporting project delivery and performing minor hands-on electrical work as needed.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Leading and managing electrical installations, upgrades to HV and LV networks, control systems, and project commissioning. Overseeing electrical contractor performance, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and coordination with other departments. Preparing and issuing various permits and instructions, including HV switching, isolation, and working-at-heights permits. Conducting risk assessments, JSEAs, and investigations, ensuring that safety protocols and risk controls are followed on-site. Providing electrical technical expertise to support operations, maintenance, and informed decision-making. Driving change management processes, developing business cases for expenditure, and defining energisation requirements for new plant installations. About You Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as an electrician or electrical supervisor, including exposure to mineral processing plants and/or underground mining operations.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications: Electrical trade certificate and high voltage switching operations (HVSO) qualification. Experience with HV reticulation and power distribution systems. Well-versed in scoping and planning electrical works and projects. Supervisory experience for High-Risk Work. First Aid and Low Voltage Rescue accreditation. Current C class driver's licence (manual).
