At Hamilton Barnes we are currenltly seeking a Fiber Splicing Technician for our client that specialize in the fiber and construction space
As a splicing tech for a growing company in the Houston area with over 40 years in business you will be backed by a company with great culture and growth.
Responsibilities: Complete daily splicing tasks as assigned, including small and large buildouts in FTTH/FTTB environments.Demonstrate expertise in fusion splicing techniques, including the ability to splice a 12-count cable within an hour.Troubleshoot and resolve issues using OTDR testing equipment (a plus).Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.Qualifications: 2-4+ years of experience in various fiber splicing methods (fusion splicing, mechanical splicing, etc.).Strong understanding of terminating Anaerobic, LC, ST, and SC connectors.Familiarity with industry standards such as BICSI, EIA/TIA, or NEC.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license.Benefits: Competitive salary: $28 - $30/HrComprehensive benefits package including:401k with 25% match on 4% employee contributionFull medical, dental, vision, and health insuranceDisability insurancePaid time off (PTO)Tuition assistancePaid training and certification opportunitiesReady to join a dynamic team and build a rewarding career?
