In alignment with this vision, the Landscape Coordinator will play a pivotal role in launching and coordinating a for-profit social enterprise focused on commercial landscaping.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork with OPS leadership to create plans and assess equipment requirements for the project.Work closely with program managers within Our Place to identify, recruit and train employees for the landscaping team.Support and oversee the initial launch of the landscaping team, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.Provide ongoing training and support to employees, fostering their professional development and growth.Continuously identify opportunities for expansion and improvement within the landscaping business model.Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders involved in the landscaping venture.QualificationsGeneral Skills and Abilities:A valid driver's licenseAbility to effectively liaise with clientsKey Landscaping Skills Required:Shrub and tree pruningQuoting on maintenance workKey Skills for Working with the Vulnerable Population:Empathy and compassionEffective communication with diverse backgroundsAbility to create an inclusive and supportive work environmentUnderstanding of social challenges and barriersWorking Conditions/CompensationShifts: 37.5 hours per week, days.Compensation: $30 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.Benefits: Vacation is accrued at a rate of 6%.
