The inaugural venture aims to delve into the realm of commercial landscaping, and to manifest this vision, OPS is seeking a qualified contractor. Duties & Responsibilities We are currently seeking a proficient professional to formulate a comprehensive strategy for our for-profit social enterprise. The scope of this plan will include crucial components such as: Crafting branding and messaging strategies. Addressing logistics and equipment requirements. The chosen contractor will work closely with our dedicated team and external specialists to ensure the plan's meticulous development, focusing on business plan development as a primary objective. Qualifications General Skills and Abilities: A valid driver's license Knowledge and charisma for effective client liaison and teamwork Key Landscaping Skills Required: Shrub and tree pruning Quoting on maintenance work Key Skills for Working with the Vulnerable Population: Empathy and compassion Effective communication with diverse backgrounds Ability to create an inclusive and supportive work environment Understanding of social challenges and barriers Working Conditions/Compensation: Shifts: Full time, 37.5 hours/week. * Initially this is a two-month contract position with the opportunity to grow into a permanent role. * Compensation : $30 to $35 per hour.
