Job Description Reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager as part of our leadership team, you will be responsible for running the hotel's Food & Beverage operation, including restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and events. This hands-on leadership role is both operational and strategic, requiring someone who can balance service delivery with administrative responsibilities and collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities include: Hands-on operation of our F&B outlets, connecting with guests, and supporting your team to provide an exceptional level of service Coordination between the F&B team and other departments to ensure clear communication and effective problem solving to ensure guest satisfaction Ensuring the smooth running of conferences and events Rostering, coaching, cost control, inventory management, and preparing reports for senior management If you come from a background in restaurants or hotels, have a passion for creating memorable guest experiences, and have experience in banqueting and/or bar operations, together with demonstrated leadership skills, we would love to hear from you.
Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication Ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team Availability to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handler qualifications Knowledge of H+L point of sale system would be an advantage Previous study in hospitality or tourism would be desirable but not essential. This position will provide a development platform to expand your knowledge and grow your skills in the hotel industry.
