The Opportunity Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Primary Specialist Teacher (HPE) to join our Team on a permanent, part-time (0.4 load) basis starting Term 1, 2025! The role of the Primary Classroom Teacher is to provide excellent education for students with Autism, focusing on educational outcomes within the College's Biblical framework and in accordance with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
Understand the philosophy of Christian Education and translate it into practice. Plan and prepare effective, quality teaching and learning programs consistent with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that is inclusive and academically stimulating. Add value to the educational experience by initiating and leading curricular and extra-curricular activities. Remuneration and Benefits As a Primary Specialist Teacher (HPE) at Eaton College, you will receive a pro-rata above-Award salary between $85,000 and $113,000 per annum pending experience , and a range of benefits, including:

About You To be successful in this role, you will have a current Queensland Teachers Registration or the ability to obtain one with the appropriate qualifications and availability to start in Term 1, 2025. Effective classroom management and behaviour management practices. Clinical or educational experience working with students with Autism. Patience and a high degree of understanding and compassion. Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal, communication, and writing skills. Enthusiastic desire to contribute to the culture and values of the College.
