Over 12 months, participants will:Learn while you earn: Gain a Diploma of Procurement and Contracting while working full-time.Work on impactful projects: Deliver real value to the WA community.Gain diverse experience: Rotate across government agencies, including the Department of Finance, Department of Communities, Department of Transport, and the Department of Local Government, Sports, and Cultural Industries.Build your network: Develop professional connections across the public sector.As a part of our commitment to improving diversity within our workforce, we encourage applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, individuals living with a disability, and Youth (age 24 and under).

We are looking for individuals who hold a Certificate IV or higher, awarded from 2023 onwards and are:Eager to Take on New Challenges: You enjoy learning and tackling new tasks.Good Communicator: You can work collaboratively with others and articulate your ideas clearly.Organised and Driven: You manage your time well and are motivated to achieve your goals.Aligned with Public Sector Values: You share the Public Sector's commitment to integrity, service and ethical conduct.About the Role:As a Pathways participant, you will be employed by one of the participating agencies, engage in structured learning and development activities, and gain cross-sector experience by completing a rotation with one of the participating agencies.In this role you will provide contract support and administrative services, develop contract and tender documentation, manage routine, low-risk contracts, and participate in various contract development and management projects.The position operates in a Personal Leadership context.
This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals.
