Our dedicated team of nearly 3,000 staff supports a population of 250,000 people throughout North-East Victoria and Southern NSW. Our extensive network encompasses two primary hospital campuses and an additional 22 sites, delivering a diverse range of emergency, community, mental health, allied health and sub-acute services.About the role

AWH invites Occupational Therapists and Social Workers wishing to pursue a career in Mental Health to apply for our Mental Health Allied Health graduate program. Our comprehensive 2-year program will provide a supportive learning environment to guide you as you transition from novice to confident and skilled Mental Health Clinician. We offer:A supportive team environmentRotations through our Mental Health Adult Acute & Continuing Care units and Specialist Community teams that provide Mental Health support across the lifespanRegular individual and group clinical supervisionDedicated educational support from the Allied Health Educators, the Mental Health Professional Development and Practice team as well as experienced Mentors and Clinicians across the serviceDuration: 2-year contract starting in February 2025 (with ongoing permanent recruitment on successful completion)Candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria to be eligible to apply:Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy or Social WorkAHPRA registration (OT) prior to commencement or eligibility for membership with AASWWhen completing your application, ensure you attach the following:A cover letterA current CV outlining your employment history2 professional referees (contact details to include telephone number & email address)What awaits you at AWH?
