About our School:Brinbeal Secondary College is one of the newest 7 - 12 Secondary Colleges in Melbourne's west.The school opened its doors to its first cohort of Year 7 students in 2024.At present, the school has just under 200 Year 7 students and will add an additional year 7 cohort each year until 2029.In 2025, we will add Year 8 to our program, as well as a new cohort of Year 7 students.The school is situated in Melbourne's booming western growth corridor.Our Values:Brinbeal Secondary Colleges values are:

Selection CriteriaSC1 Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
SC2 Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
SC3 Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning.
SC4 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
SC5 Demonstrated behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values.
ResponsibilitiesThe role of classroom teacher may include but is not limited to:
Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students;Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program;Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions;Who May ApplyTeachers currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in specified curriculum area(s).
