RoleThe ES Range 1-2 VET and Careers Administrator is instrumental in the organisation and administration of the VET and Pathways programs offered at Northcote High School. Working closely with the Careers Coordinator, the role requires the successful applicant to support our students enrolling and participating in VET programs whilst also liaising with VET providers and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Specific support tasks to achieve outcomes, typically involving accountability for a single function, or coordination of a work area under the direction of the principal or a manager.Assisting teachers within an educational program by undertaking specific support tasks or the coordination of the support function.Supervised health and wellbeing support tasks, medical intervention support tasks, or other specialised student/teacher support roles.Technical tasks that require a sound knowledge of basic technical and/or scientific principles.Work professionally, courteously and cooperatively with internal and external clients.Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all aspects of the role.Comply with OH&S requirements and maintain a safe and healthy workplace for self and others.Who May ApplyIndividuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
