Location Profile History Springside Primary School is located in Caroline Springs in the western suburbs of Melbourne, approximately 34 kilometres from the Melbourne Central Business District. The school was originally founded in 2009 and has a current enrolment of approximately 940 students.

Role An education support class position will perform tasks in accordance with guidelines under supervision and direction. This may include coordination of other education support class staff.
Responsibilities:
Provides routine support for teachers including assisting with planning of student routines. Supports communication between teachers and parents. Provides basic physical care and wellbeing support for students. Communicates with students to support comprehension of tasks. Addresses immediate behavioural presentations within a classroom setting. Provides basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students. Supports teachers in coordinating educational programs. Provides medical intervention support to students under specific conditions. Provides specialised communication support for students and teachers.
